Default view last 2 years Data even when other filters applied the data should be last 2 years only

Hi Everyone, 

I have data for different Years. the default view is I wanted to show last two Years Data (8 Quarters as my data is year and Quarter wise Trends). I Created a Rank column 

Rank =

RANKX ( Bugs_by_state_Severity_Service, [Start of Quarter],, DESC,Dense ) using which at visual level filter(top 8 rank) I am able to show last two years data only.  

But when any category filter is selected , if particular category does not contains data for any Quarters in the last two years it is going for previous data. I wanted to show the Data within last two years only even if data is not Avaialable for any Quarters.    

Any help regarding this issue is highly appreciable...
