Default value selection in line Graph Power BI

Hi Team,

I have a report in which there is a line graph and a bar graph. I have a catagory column Say A,B,C and the price associated with it.

Now a bar graph shows all the catagories and respective sum of price , but i want a line graph to show only for catagory B for default and then when you filter on any of the catagory from bar graph ( let say C ) then it should show respective  C on line graph and when nothing is filtered on bar graph then it should by default show B catagory in the ine graph.

Is it possible ? I dont want any buttons to be present on the report page. I have already given bookmark apporach to business but  i need other approach. Also i dont want catagory slicer on the report page.

Please help me resolve this issue. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Shubham

@parry2k Thanks for the reply. It worked when i use below formula :-

Default Measure =
IF(COUNTROWS(DISTINCT(ALLSELECTED(Sales[Catagory]))) < COUNTROWS(DISTINCT(ALL(Sales[Catagory]))) , SUM(Sales[Profit])
,
IF(SELECTEDVALUE(Sales[Catagory]) = "B",SUM(Sales[Profit]), BLANK()))

@Anonymous sure you can do something like this

Line Measure =
VAR __selectedCategory = SELECTEDVALUE ( Table[Category], "B" )
RETURN
CALCULATE ( SUM ( Table[Column] ), Table[Category] = __selectedCategory )

if this doesn't work then share sample data.
