Decrypt Encrpted Data in Power BI - Source Azure SQL DB

Hello,

We have a Azure SQL DB instance which contains some confidential data.

We don't want the Developers to see the data as it is so we are planning to encrypt the data using either (Always Encrypted or TDE).

However, the problem is that we want the users to see the same data in Power BI either by decrypting the encryted data in PBI or some other work around.

Does any one has any idea about it? Any work around/suggestion can also helpful.

After my test, I'm afraid it couldn't achieve in Power BI for now.

And If developers don't see the data, it would be inconvenient to shape data and model.

For your requirement, you could post your new idea in Power BI ideas and make this feature coming sooner.

di u find solution on decryption direct query at power bi level we have scrapped our project and using cognos bi for it
