Days Since Measure on Map Visualisation

Hello,

I have created a Power BI report to log the frequency and location of visits carried out by the gas engineers I work with. I have added a map visualisation to help illustrate this and I want to show how many days it has been since the last visit was carried out at each location. I have created a measure with the following formula in a separate table:

Days Since Last Visit = DATEDIFF('RealTimeData'[Date of Last Visit],TODAY(),DAY)

This works fine, but when I try to drop this measure into the map visualisation, it comes up as 0 for every location, which isn't correct.

I'd appreciate any advice!

Thanks,

Charlie

  • Collins26390 , to me it seem like a column not meausre .

Create a column in the table RealTimeData

Days Since Last Visit = DATEDIFF('RealTimeData'[Date of Last Visit],TODAY(),DAY)

    or measure

    Days Since Last Visit =

Averagex( 'RealTimeData',  DATEDIFF('RealTimeData'[Date of Last Visit],TODAY(),DAY)

    or

    Days Since Last Visit =

Sumx( 'RealTimeData',  DATEDIFF('RealTimeData'[Date of Last Visit],TODAY(),DAY)

    Hi amitchandak,

Thanks for your response. I tried your suggestion, but unfortunately the map visual is still aggregating the data. I have also tried changing the SharePoint list to make the days since calculation at source, but unfortunately I am still having the same issue, whether the column is a number or text!

If you or anyone else has any other suggestions it would be much appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Charlie
