Dax to calculate the attendance for each class

I have a data set with the following format: Total Class_Name 1 Intro 1 Intro 1 Adv 1 Intro 1 Intro 1 Adv 1 Final 1 Final Each line item is a record of a class by person so the sum of Total by class would the attendance of each class. How can I use a dax formula to find the sum of each class? I would like to be able to filter this data so I'm trying to avoid measures. Is it possible in power bi to create a table that would just be the class names and the attendance?

Sorry was having trouble imputing code. This was copy and pasting excel like in the guide: Total Class Name 1 Intro 1 Intro 1 Adv 1 Intro 1 Intro 1 Adv 1 Final 1 Final

Hi @Anonymous,

I still cannot understand your data sample.

If it is convenient, could you share your data sample as table format or share a screenshots of your data sample and your desired output so that we could help further on it?

Best  Regards,

Cherry
