Hi,
I'm hoping someone can tell me why I can't sort the date AU column by the Date Sort column? I've managed to do sorts like this before, but suddenly it won't work... 😞
Thank you!
Sonia
Did you try this?
Hi @Anonymous
I've tried this, but no luck. It's still sorting Mar 28 after Apr 2, for example.
Any other ideas??
Thanks,
Sonia
Hi SoniaL,
As you mentioned you can’t sort the date AU column by the Date Sort column, is there any error message throws out? Please share detail information how you can’t set sort by column setting.
If you encounter the message that there are more than one value in Date Sort column for the same value in date AU column, please refer to this similar thread: http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/unexpected-matrix-sort/m-p/368134#M167394.

Hi @v-yuta-msft
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, that's the error I get! Unfortunatly I can't find a solution in that thread either...
How should I go about ranking this column so the dates display in order?
Thanks again,
Sonia
Hi @Anonymous,
Is your date column in date format? It looks like Text. Could you change the format in the modelling tab and try gain?
Hi @Anonymous,
The column is formatted as Date/Time, but it's still not working
Any other ideas?
Thank you!
Sonia
