Date slicer change all date filters?

I've been asked to created this dashboard.  The problem is, the slicer of CreatedDate will only apply to the Comment Count and Cases Taken.  The Closed count cards uses the Incident Resolved date and the Restore count cards uses the Service Restored date.  Is there a way that when someone sets the CreatedDate slicer it sets the Incident Resolved and Service Restored date to the same date?

@v-binbinyu-msft

I have that set up and when I'm using the Calendar column Date, it shows no data.  If I use one of my date fields from the Case object, I get data.  Maybe my relationship is not set up right?

Hi @gilmore_staci , try to activate the relationship and send us a screenshot of the whole data model, if it doesn't help:

Here's the error I get when I try to activate it

Hi @gilmore_staci ,

Please try below steps:

1. Create a Common Date Table: This table should cover the range of dates you're interested in across all your data. You can create this table directly in Power BI using DAX with the CALENDAR or CALENDARAUTO function.

2. Establish Relationships: In your model, create relationships between the common date table and your existing tables (where your 'CreatedDate', 'Incident Resolved', and 'Service Restored' fields reside). Ensure these relationships are correctly set to filter in the direction that suits your report's needs.

3. Use the Common Date Table in Your Slicer: Instead of using the 'CreatedDate' directly, use the date field from your common date table in the slicer. This way, when a date range is selected, it filters across all related tables through the established relationships.

This approach ensures that your slicer based on the common date table will simultaneously filter all related data, aligning the 'Comment Count', 'Cases Taken', 'Closed Count', and 'Restore Count' metrics according to the selected date range.
