Excluding a Table from a Slicer

Hello, I'm trying to exclude a table from a slicer but haven't yet come across a solution that works in my case.

(Referencing the image below) When I go to 'edit interactions,' I don't get the Filter option to select 'None' to disable a filter on tables. The 'None' circle below is for the text box above the table. The data in the table are incorrect and should be showing unique averages by year. Instead the date slicer impacts what's displayed.

(Referencing the image below) This table however seems fine, since it only has one row.

(Referencing the image below) In the 'Sync slicers' pane, I have the slicers enabled across all pages, since aside from the tables, I would like for the slicers to impact the data on every page.

If helpful, below is a screenshot of what measures are used for the rows and columns and another screenshot of the 'Model View' showing that my 'National Measures' table is not have a linked relationship to any other table.

I will note that the 'National Measures' are built off of data within the two other datasets (e.g., Average of ChangeinMastery = CALCULATE(AVERAGE('IOTTA Baseline Data - CLEANED'[AfterTrainingComp]) - AVERAGE('IOTTA Baseline Data - CLEANED'[BeforeTrainingComp]). I'm not sure if that's why the slicers impact all data and therefore my tables, and if so, how to work around this.

Thanks so much for any pointers!

  • I can't see what you can see, but my description is how it works. Either it's there and you can't see it, or it's a corrupt visual and it's not there. Try moving the table into an open space so you can see all around it. If it's not there, delete the table and add a new one.

In the image you have the table selected and don't show the slicer at all. To change filtering, first click the slicer on the page, then change the filtering on the table.

Thanks for replying! I forgot to show the Slicer (image below) but when it's selected, I still face the same issue in not being able to manipulate the table filtering. Appreciate any ideas to remedy this!
