Date hierarchy please help

I am trying to use a calendar table related to two other tables containing my data. I want to show my data quarterly, but when I choose to mark my calendar table as a date table, I lose my date hierarchy. The graph looks correct, it just has every date instead of quarters.

Id I manually create a date hierarchy in my date table, I randomly get values going to inifinity.

If I try to unmark my calendar table as a date table and use the default date hierarchy, my graph looks like this :

I have been at this for quite a while now and am at a complete loss. Any help would be appreciated. I would have to redact quite a bit of info to provide an example of the data, but can create that if necessary.

Hi,

In the Calendar Table, create a calculated column formula of Quarter.  To the X-axis of the visual, drag Year and Quarter from the Calendar Table.  If it does not help, then share the download link of the PBI file.

Hi! It looks like you have Date as part of your hierarchy. Try creating your hierarchy with just year-qtr-mth-day.

Ok nevermind I am able to filter out the blank values so I am getting somewhere. The last issue is sorting the dates. I am guessing I can't manually sort them?

This is looking better but there are still a bunch of blank values that are calculating infinity. I am not sure where the blanks are coming from, there are no blanks in the data
