Date hierarchy doesn't appear when I use a DBMS data source

I have some data held in Excel , which , when imported , automatically creates Hierarchies on the date columns.

When the same dataset is imported from a DB table , the date columns are recognised as such, but no hierarchies are created.

Please assist.

Hi @Anonymous
Dates hierarchies also refer to relationships with other tables.
