Hi ,
Really sorry for the basic question. I have been reading through trying to work out others who have the same question but I am not sure what to search for (can someone point me in the right direction).
I have multiple dates in my model. When I bring some into my visual tables they are reacting differently and I can't work out why.
1) Some are coming through on 1 column for an individual date eg - column header date - format dd/mm/yyyy (this is how I want all of them)
2) Some are coming through with multiple columns for an individual date eg - column header Year, Column Header Month, Column header day.
If someone could point out to me what causes option 2 so I can make them all option 1 it would be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter

As I understood from your question, you seem to have enabled Auto Date/Time in your file. It creates a Year, Month, Quarter Day hierarchy. You have the option to turn it off and create your own date tables which is highly recommended.
