Hello,
I Have a set of 4 Excel files in folder I, Through the get data folder option i loaded them, now when I am trying to transform data for one of the columns from text to date format i am getting an error
"ole db or odbc error " data format error external table is not in the expected format
How can i solve this

Check that the excel files are of .xlsx and not .xls file types. If not, you need to resave them as Microsoft Excel Workbook.
Thanks for ur help , however the file are stored in Microsoft Excel Worksheet (.XLSX) format only. what else could be the reason .
