Date as Table Header

Hi All,

I am trying to create a table and a Line and stacked column chart with 1 set of data from Excel import.

I want the table to look like picture1, with main info headers and the rest headers as dates (see picture below)

I tried the format in picture 2, but I was not able to use those dates in the header and the number under the date to create  a Line and stacked column chart

I tried the format in picture 3. I was able to use the matrix to create a table similar to Picture 1, but if I use this format I will not be able to create a Line and Stacked column chart using different categories (aaa, bbb, ccc) and date.

Please provide any suggestions/help.

Thank you so much

HI @Anonymous,

If you want to use both two types of charts at the same time, you can duplicate the raw table and do unpitove columns on it.
After these steps, you can use the category fields as relationship keys to link to the raw table Then one of the table fields creates a matrix and the other one creates Line and Stacked column chart.

@Anonymous , not very clear, But ideally you should select all the column other than date at end and use unpivot other columns, that will move dates to row

Hi,

Thanks for responding. In short, I want dates to be the column headers for my table. I know  I can just type out the dates as the first row of my excel, but at the same time if I do that I will not be able to use those date to create a graph
