Date Table relationship with multiple tables

I have several data sources in my file and I need to tie them all together so I can filter them all down to the same time-frame.  To do this, I created a date table and then I thought I would be able to create relationships with all the other tables.  I created the first relationship and all was well.  However, when I created the next relationship, I was unable to make the relationship active.  I get the following error:

You can't create a direct relationship between Test Ops and Calendar because that would introduce ambiguity between Tables Calendar and Ops plan.  To make this relationship active, deactivate or delete one of the relationships between Calendar and Ops plan first.

Ops plan is the first table that I created a relationship with Calendar.  I need this relationship.  Any anyone know how I fix this?

That error means that you have multiple relationship paths between 2 tables and that creates confusion for the model. You can use USERELATIONSHIP in DAX to use a specific, inactive relationship. Would need to see your model to see what other fixes there may be. Often you can resolve these sorts of things by changing the filter direction on one or more relationships.

Thanks.  Unfortunately, I am connected to a Postgresql DB and the model is far too complex for me to try to replicate it with Excel data and share.  I'll have to try to figure it out.

Hi @Anonymous,

As the error prompted, it is not possible to establish two active relationships between two tables, that would bring confusion for the model. Please use USERELATIONSHIP in DAX to specify an inactive relationship.

By the way, have you figured it out? If so, would you please share your solution so that it can benefit more users?
