On the left I have a column called RMA Date. It is connected to the "date" on my Date table.
On the right, is the date column from the date table.
I thought when you connected two date fields to the date table they would essentially mirror each other? But clearly they are not lining up. Some dates do, but several don't. Is this normal behavior? Why would my RMA Dates not match up with the date table?

Hi @Anonymous ,
You may change the data type of [RMA Date] with "Date" instead of "Date/time", create Many to One relationship between the two tables, make sure the Cross filter direction is Both, and tick the option "Make this relationship active".

@Anonymous , I doubt join is inactive, Make sure you have active join.
Also, make sure RMA Date does not have a timestamp.
RMA Date 1 =[RMA Date].Date //if it has timestamp, then join with it
hi @Anonymous - would you be able to share a sample dataset or the power bi file for better understanding.
Also can you share a snapshot of the relationship details between the FACT and Date tables?

Sumanth
