Date Slicer affecting 2 different visuals
I have a 2 visuals currently. The 1st is a monthly view showing ID and total sales. I have a slicer on this visual for the month. The 2nd visual is a table that when I drillthrough on the first visual shows a listing of all the indivual items sold for that ID. The 1st visual uses Table A and dates are months. The 2nd visual uses Table B and has it's own dates that are for the specific day that each item was sold.
| ID | Month |
| 1 | 1/1/2025 |
| 2 | 1/1/2025 |
| ID | Date |
| 1 | 11/6/2024 |
| 1 | 1/7/2025 |
| 1 | 1/22/2025 |
| 2 | 8/19/2024 |
| 2 | 10/30/2024 |
| 2 | 1/15/2025 |
My issue is that it shows the entire history for the ID. I want it so that only items sold during the selected month on the slicer is shown. How do I do this?

Hi, here is a more fleshed out example. Apologies if you were wanting a pbix file but I'm current not in a position to put it on an external site and share the link.
The result I want on the drillthrough is for the table there to show only the dates in the month that I have selected on the slicer on and only for the ID # that I drillthrough on.
Table 1
ID Month 1 1/1/2025 1 12/1/2024 1 11/1/2024 1 10/1/2024 1 9/1/2024 2 1/1/2025 2 12/1/2024 2 11/1/2024 2 10/1/2024 2 9/1/2024 Table 2
ID Date 1 1/3/2025 1 1/8/2025 1 12/4/2024 1 11/9/2024 1 11/20/2024 1 11/29/2024 1 9/15/2024 2 1/8/2025 2 12/23/2024 2 11/6/2024 2 10/10/2024 2 9/30/2024 Table I want to show initially (say I set slicer on month to Dec 2024)
ID Month 1 12/1/2024 2 12/1/2024 Table I want to see after drillthrough on ID 1
ID Date 1 12/4/2024 The issue I am having is that all the rows with ID appear
ID Date 1 1/3/2025 1 1/8/2025 1 12/4/2024 1 11/9/2024 1 11/20/2024 1 11/29/2024 1 9/15/2024 I do not know how to get the dates to cooperate on the drillthrough.

Hi. This is close to what I am looking for, but if I drillthrough on this table for the top row in your example, in the result, I see ID 2 appear as well. I want only ID 1 items to appear or only ID 2 items to appear if I drillthrough on 2.

Hi kmei001 ,
Use a shared Calendar table for both tables, and make sure the Month slicer and drillthrough filters use that. Include both ID and Month in the drillthrough to see only matching items for that ID and month.
I hope this resolve your query.
