My pc has date format as dd-mmm-yy, i formatted the column as dd-mmm-yy but my slicer visual has mm/dd/yyyy.
If i view my data in the data view, it is represented as dd-mmm-yy. How can i represent the date on my slicer visual as dd-mmm-yy?
I also tried using a calculated column = format(dDate[DateKey], "dd-mmm-yy"), but that does not seem to help.

Hi @ryan_g ,
I have researched it. However, sadly, it is by design for between/ before/after slicer. And there is not a workaround about it. There is a similar idea: https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=259584ec-e3cd-441c-8380-6ccd88abc364. Hope you can vote it up to get the feature fixed quickly.
@ryan_g what are regional settings?

But those are my current setting and the slicer is still mm/dd/yyyy and not dd-mmm-yy.
Hi @ryan_g ,
What version of Power BI Desktop do you use? I have tested using the latest one: 2.84.861.0 64-bit (August 2020). The slicer is working perfectly. You could download my sample to have a try. And please try to upgrade Desktop as well.
If you still encounter the issue, please create a dummy file that we can test. Thanks!
I have updated with the latest version; prior to update I had July 2020 verson.
Using the file you sent, if i set the slicer as list or dropdown, date is dd-mmm-yy. However if i use between, it mm-dd-yyyy.
