Hi everyone,
I have two tables:
- datatable
- lookuptable.
The datatable is already linked to the order quantity values from the lookuptable in PowerQuery queries.
In addition, I have a relationship between the two tables (see attached report sheet).
The problem is that if I create two "Table" objects in powerbi with the same Order Number columns from the "Table" deriving from the lookuptable by selecting a row corresponding to the order I can impact as a filter also in the datatable table but it does not happen vice versa. why? (always see graphic example in attached file)
This is the relation between two table:
This is the picture explaining the issues:

@giroldoale , Not very clear to me
your filter is not bi-direction so it will filter from Ordin.. to Fin.. not from fin to ordin..
Make join Bi-directional and check
Hi @amitchandak thanks for the reply..
how can I reach the bidirectional relation?
There is only one point that is not so clear. I do not understand the value of a flag into "Apply security filter in both directions" what's happen if it's flagged or not?
thanks
