I just wanted to check to see if what dataflows/power query is doing is the correct from a data governance side of things and that Microsoft knows about it.
Currently you can take any visuals MDX code from the performance analyzer in power bi and then make a connection to that power bi dataset in dataflows using that MDX query.
Then you can share that dataflow with anyone who wouldnt have permission to the original data source.
is this correct implementat?
@Robert14358 , Dataflow has its own set of permission. so any source it has taken can be shared with another set of user with whom it was needed. Here dataset is one of the sources like Excel, SQL server etc
