I have started to use the new single Dataflow connector made available in the August release of Power BI. However, yesterday I've found that the connector has disappeared from Power BI meaning my dataset cannot refresh. There is a similar unresolved topic of another connecter here.
This is happening on the Microsoft Store version of Power BI (2.96.1061.0 64-bit (August 2021)).

On a possibly related note the performance of the Store version when in the Power Query editor is very slow when attempting to access dataflows using the usual connector, whereas the downloaded version is in line with my expections.
