Hi,
I would like to ask how I could solve this issue?
Whenever I am trying to refresh report in Power BI, I am getting this
DataSource.Error: Sybase SQL Anywhere: Integrated login failed
Details:
DataSourceKind=Sybase
DataSourcePath=188.80.4.95:2638;dbname
Message=Integrated login failed
ErrorCode=-2147467259
I tried to set up a new password also to delete global permissions and clean a cache but all of this were unsuccessfull for solving this issue.
Hi @Analitika ,
It was another traffic protection tool. Although it was possible to telnet the port, still traffic from app was blocked by another tool.

And could you try using ODBC connector to connect it to see if it works?
1. Get Data -> ODBC
2. Choose the DSN you have configured.

Hi @Analitika ,
If you are connecting the data base by Sybase database in Desktop, there are some prerequisites for SAP Sybase SQL Anywhere. "This connector requires one or more additional components to be installed before it can be used. "If you have configured ODBC for Sybase, you can use ODBC connector in Desktop to connect data source. And you need make sure the server name and database name correct.
You can check against the prerequisites.

Still not works getting syntax error -
Also this: DataSource.Error: ODBC: ERROR [42601] ERROR: syntax error at or near "[";. Error while executing the query.
Hello,
My report is based on Sybase Anywhere but I also need connect to PostgreSQL. How to achieve this? Because I am still getting this error message:
And also:
OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] Sybase SQL Anywhere: Connection error: Connection was dropped (may not be a SQL Anywhere server) .
How to solve these issues and properly use Sybase Anywhere and PostgreSQL at the same time in same report in Power BI?
