Hi, getting belowm error after uploadingb excel data in BI. Please help

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

After turning the following function on in Options, connect the excel file again. The date type of the field is displayed correctly.

@v-henryk-mstf , chaned excel format from xlsb in to xlsx, now it is working fine. Thanks a lot for the help. I will try that option also.

@PaulDBrown am also not getting any error in initial load, after data refresh only am getting this.

@Anonymous are you refreshing in Power BI Desktop or Power BI Service?

Hi @Anonymous , can you use Find and Replace to remove spaces " ".  This should help. Or simply use =TRIM function on data. Like a space or two that aren't visible causing this.

hI @TheoC , no space found in excel. Cann you please check my uploaded source data.

@Anonymous, thank you for bringing to my attention. I just did some research and many similar issues have occurred due to a bug in the Connector regarding Regional Settings for the date format. The Excel file is DD/MM/YYY. Are you able to confirm this is the same for your Region Settings?
