Hello
Has anyone connected Power BI to GADD as a data source to make dashboards?

Hi @Anonymous ,
I think you need to do is to transferry files from folders to other folders on a regular daily basis.

Thanks Lucien!
Hi @Anonymous ,
In GADDxl the user clicks on “Export to Excel” and the data is automatically exported to Excel.
Query information and the data result are displayed in separate sheets. Pivot table and pivot chart are automatically created and can then be changed by the users.
Perhaps you can try exporting to excel and then importing to Power BI.

Hi Lucien
Thanks for the help. I am able to export the data as excel file. So I have a query that extracts me a excel file from GADD every morning but the problem is that every day the new file replaces the previous one as it has the same file name. But in my dashboard I need to have the previous data as well. Is there any way to have daily excel files in a folder with different file names so that the previous one is not replaced.
Hii
So I have some daily data coming out from GADD but I prefer to use Power BI to do the reporting. I would like to use the data coming out from GADD to make a dashboard using Power BI
Hi @Anonymous ,
Referring to the official Microsoft article, there is no GADD in the data sources supported by Power BI.

That seems to make little sense. GADD is a reporting tool like Power BI. Why would you want to connect one reporting tool to another?
