Data not loading even for the report creator.

Hi all,

My report loads data correctly on desktop, but not in the service.

I have read a few similar issues, but none of them apply for me.

The premium workspace is set for small dataset storage formats, I'm the admin and have access to all data.

Could you please advice me, what would be the reason for the data to load only in the desktop?

If I understand correctly, your issue is the report can't display the data in Power BI Service. In order to make a deep troubleshooting and give you a suitable solution, could you please provide the following necessary information?

1. What is the underlying data source? Connection mode?
2. Did you apply any RLS in your report?
3. Whether you configure the gateway when the data source is on-premise?

The dataset is storage mode mixed, and below are the sources. The report was created on top a dataset which contains RLS, and there is two excel files imported from SharePoint.

No gateway is required.

Did you add the members to the role(s) in Power BI Service since you apply RLS in the report? If no, you can refer the following official documentation to do it.

In order to find the cause of the problem, could you please provide the following information? Thank you.

• The details for the error

  

• Only one specific visual can't load the data or all of visuals can't load the data in the report?

• Did you apply any custom visual in the report?
• Could you please provide the screenshot of data source settings info in Power BI Service?
• Need to confirm: the data source of report is only from two excel files which store in Sharepoint, right?
