Data modelling with Parent child hierachies

Hello all,
I have a m code that performs a BOM explosion and thus gives me a flat hierarchy of material numbers with corresponding components. Currently the hierarchy goes from the top material to the sixth component. I would now like to connect this BOM explosion with a turnover table. This table contains a material number with corresponding sales figures. The material number of the turnover table can be contained at different levels of the BOM explosion, depending on the path.
How do I connect these two tables?
I calculate production costs on the basis of my BOM explosion. Through the connection to the turnover table, I would now like to display the turnover for all materials, regardless of the hierarchy level.
