Hi All,
When I clicked on the refresh button in the desktop file, the data showed all correct.
But after I published it to the web, and using the on-premise gateway to refresh it, the data was missing
Any idea?

Hi Cherry,
Thank you for your reply.
I clicked on the refresh button before I published it to the web and then refresh it via the on-premise gateway. So the data should be the exact same. There was none error, all worked fine, but just the data was missing.
But I guess I have solved this issue. I was using the same data source(same SQL statement) for 2 different tables. I guess that why I got 1 table that showed all good and 1 blank table. I changed the source of the second table from the SQL statement to the name of the first table. and data came back.
Am I right?
Thanks,
Mia
Hi @MiaZhao,
Based on your information, I understand that you have a problem when refresh your dataset in Power BI Service.
Do you mean you could see the data before you refresh the dataset in Power BI Service?
What data source do you use and how do you connect it?
Please check if your on-premise Gateway is online and if you add your data source successfully?
In addition, do you have any error message when you refresh your data in Power BI Service?
If it is convenient, could you share some screenshots to describe your issue in more details?
Best Regards,
Cherry
