My report changes only partly (and shows wrong numbers) after I upload it to Power BI

This report is not connected to any external data sourse. I simply key the numbers in to the query and update manually. I have never had this problem before. I even tried changing the report name to a fresh one and it still produced the wrong numbers, though the right month! Very strange. Has anyone had this happen to them?

Hi  @Zarlot531,

By my test, I cannot reprodce your issue.

What data source have you connected?

If it is convenience, could you share a dummy pbix file which can reproduce the scenario, so that we can help further investigate on it? You can upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.)

Hi @Zarlot531,

By my tests with your pbix file, I found this.

1. When I open your pbix file and publish it to Power BI Service directly, there is no different for the visuals in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

2. When I refresh your report in Power BI Desktop, I could reproduce your issue.

Have you republished your report to Power BI Service? If you republish it, there should not have this issue.

Here is the result when I republish the report in Power BI Desktop to Power BI Service.

Here are two ways you could have a try.

1. Republish your report in Power BI Desktop to Power BI Service to check if you still have this issue.

2. If need, please configure your on-premise Gateway and add data source to set Data refresh. Then you could refresh the dataset in Power BI Service.

Best Regards,

Cherry

When I open the PBIX from the drop box I get the same results you posted for the service 114,129,102,101  if I publish to the service I get the exact same results.

Are you using an App Workspace? If so you would need to republish the App. If its shared from your persal workspace I have no clue... you may want to try the BI Service forum instead of the desktop.
