Data from SQL table not updating in Power BI

I have a Power BI report that accesses two tables.  Power BI is not picking up any changes made to table values.

Below are the steps I followed:

1. I modified the SubCategoryColumn column values in SSMS.
2. I then launched Power BI and did a Data Refresh.  
3. Power BI showed the that the rows from both tables were loaded.
4. When I open the Data view in Power BI, none of the updated values appear.  The original values are still there.
   
   The updates SubCategoryColor columns are shown below in SSMS.

After updating SubCategoryColor in SSMS, I did a Refresh in Power BI.  The dialog reports rows gave been uploaded for both tables.  However, none of the Edits made to SubCategoryColor are loaded during the Refresh.

How would I troubleshoot this?

If not, please tell me what is your connection mode to connect to SQL Server?

Maybe you should try to reconnect to the data source.
