Hey people,
for the dashboard I'm working on I need to import Excel into my dashboard.
In the Excel sheet, there are recorded times of how a truck has driven, break time, etc, etc. The data is recorded like this but whenever I import the Excel sheet to my dashboard it shows the data like this.
Both the Excel and power bi columns are text.
I've tried changing my regional setting in both the original dashboard as well as a new one, I can't edit the Excel sheets since I need to combine several of them into one on a daily/weekly basis.
Without more info, it is difficult to suggest. You may check with a single file first, instead of combining them and then comparing. It may be easier to trace the problem then probably.
Hope it helps.
Hi @DutchChairMan ,
Can you please share your excel file - just Totale tijd column?
No, I can not. The best I can do is the two images showing the problem in the post.
It is hard to figure out what could be wrong without testing at least just a related column of the actual data itself. What can be done now is wait for other users who might have experienced a similar/same scenario and how they resolved it.
