Data area passed to a system call is too small

Hi all,

I had this problem from time to time. It happens while I open a Power BI file. Sometimes I could solve the problem by restarting the computer. Sometimes restart could not solve the problem. I have to restart a few times until I won't run into this error.

If it helps: I have downloaded an older version of Power BI desktop before. I used the advanced download to resintall the latest version. I could still open the Power BI desktop Application by clicking on the short cut on desktop. And I could open the file from there during this time.

Check the system you have by "Setting->system->about",

Also the minimum requirements to run Power BI Desktop from here

Delete all old versions compelely and download the lastest version

I have 8 GB RAM and Windows 10 enterprise. I also have the latest PowerBI  - April 2019.

A strange issue happened is that although I could not open a power bi file by clicking on the file icon, I could open the power bi desktop icon on my desktop - and open the file from there. This enables me to open a powerbi file but I do have to have powerbi open all the time. If I close it - I have to restart the computer to bring it back.
