Hy Guys,
can it's possible insert a button in report with update button data?
instead of scheduling the update I would like to insert a button to start it when I need it.
thanks
@momodj20 , Not clear on the role of this. You can use bookmarks for button.

You have to refresh button to refresh the data
i want a button in report for launch update in report for user .
not refresh,
the button launch a action update.
Hi @momodj20 ,
The picture you have provided is a dataset not a report in power bi service. If you want to update report, just use the 'refresh now' button to refresh related dataset and related reports will also refresh.
Or you can configure scheduled refresh, please refer: Configure scheduled refresh
In addtion, what does 'update in report' mean? if you want to update the report data, just use the refresh button in report.
Best Regards,
Yingjie Li

this is not a solution .
the solution is: the possible of insert one button for click in the report.
HI @momodj20 ,
Just wanted to check on why this is required as there is already REFRESH button available in Power BI.
If this helps and resolves the issue, appreciate a Kudos and mark it as a Solution! 🙂
Thanks,
Pragati
1) the refresh button is not in the report
2) the button refresh not update a dataset but update visual object.
3) since I have created a db2 connection, I would like the click of the button to update the report manually, not in scheduling.
I want to insert a button in the report as those who have no experience must enter the dataset and update. Instead, to do a manual update, just click on the button.
