I have report which has 40 different tables pulling data from multiple sources, Its now throwing below shown error in Power Bi Service.
Is there a way in PBI Desktop to get to the error column, since the error do not point to the table or column name, it gets really difficult to get to the bottom of the error,
any tips and tricks to find out the cause is really appreciated
I resolved this by DELETING the file from the Service and republishing it.
Hi This type of erros mostly comes when you added new column in your dataset and trying to refresh your from power bi services using gateways. You can simply go to power bi dekstop inside power transformation and refresh your data from source and if you want to keep the column and keep else remove it from power query . Save your file and publish again in power bi services with same name.
hope this work for you
Hi @smjzahid ,
This error might be caused when a column was removed or renamed in the original data source.
Check your data for the above conditions. Then try to clear Power BI Desktop cache and click the refresh button to check if the error still exist.
Best Regards,
Jay
