Data Preview not showing in Power Query but shows in Power BI Data tab

Hi All,

I have a weird problem,  and am looking for some help in understanding why this happens! I am trying to import data from Azure Devops Boards using Analytics View. The data gets imported and is visible in Power BI within the data tab, however it says 'Table is empty' within Power Query for the same table. 

We've tried clearing cache, changing parallel loading table settings, restarting Power BI, refreshing data but nothing seems to work.

What confuses me even further is when I apply a transformation - like remove a column / pivot columns, data then shows up.

Any help in understanding this behaviour is much appreciated!
