Data Colors Scatterplot with Play Axis

When using a scatterplot with a play axis, I did not see options for data colors in the format tab.    If I take off the play axis, the data color options are available.  Is there anyway to customize data colors with the play axis on the scatterplot?

hi, @Maureen

It seems that the Data Color feature is not available for now. if we add a field in Play Axis Property with a scatter chart visual. Based on my test, once Play Axis contains a field, data color revert to default and Data Color is missing.

Please refer to this post:

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/scatter-chart-not-allowing-changing-color-when-using-play-ax...

I got information below:

This is a known limitation for now. There is a color-by-category toggle the user can apply that will give a unique color to each category grouping, even if there is no Legend field.

We hope to bring formatting parity to Play Axis later this year.

Best Regards,
Lin
