I want to know what is the pro and cons for using ODS for Power report and dashboard instead of using Databased such as Teradata etc?

The pros and cons of a connection often depend on the connection mode in which you connect to a data source. In Power BI Desktop, there are three connection modes, Import mode, DirectQuery mode, and Live Connection. The pros and cons of these three can be referred to:

You can check what your connection mode is as follows. Place the mouse over the data.
