Based on your description, you want to get the max sales, right?
If this is a case, you can try to use below measure:
Top1 Sales = MAXX(SUMMARIZE(ALLSELECTED('Table'),[Month],"Total",SUM('Table'[Sales])),[Total])
BTW, I'm not recommend you to direct combine use measures who contains the specific filters.
