Hi Community,
We are currently having problems on our power bi report wherein whenever we are filtering a visual with measure to get only rows that satisfies the filter condition, it shows different output. However, if we add a field from the same table where we get the column of the visual it shows the correct rows that should be filtered
Note that the measures are from a single measure table, is this behavior related to row context? appreciate if you can give advice on how to debug this problem
My apologies that I cannot show a screenshot.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Please at least share the formula you are using.
One thing that I can think of at this moment is whether you are using the selectedvalue() function in the formula. This function will return blank when the results are multiple values.
If so you could use values() function instead.
Best Regards,
Jay
@Anonymous Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882
Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490
The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
