DATA FROM TWO FACT TABLE IN TABLE VISUAL . CONNECTED EACH OTHER AND BOTH FACT TABLE LNKD WITH DATE T

Hi!

I JUST STARTED MY PROJECT TO ANALYZE .

I HAVE TWO FACT TABLE (order-sheet and Dyeing-Production) BOTH ARE CONNECTED WITH SAME KEY to EACH OTHER (1-* relationship). DYEING-PRODUCTION TABLE HAS MULTIPLE TRANSACTION and connected with PRIMARY KEY ID of order-sheet table. BOTH FACT ARE CONNECTED WITH DATE DIMENSION TABLE.( 1-* RELATIONSHIP).

i MAKE REPORT AND USE SLICER / FILTERS AND FETCH DATA IN TWO TABLE visual. TABLE 1 visual FETCHING DATA FROM order-sheet table BUT TABLE 2 visual SUPPOSE TO FETCH DATA FROM Dyeing-production dataset.

After applying slicer/ filter , Table 2 visual , is not fetching data from dataset Dyeing-Production.

Followng is screen shoot

@sm_qaiser conneting two fact tables is against the basic design principles, having said that you have to create dimensions that will connect to both fact tables. Another basic thing change the name of your table to fact instead of dim. why do you want to create this confusion?

@QAISER there are a few challenges with your model. First and foremost, why dim order sheet is connected to the date dimension? Theoretically, it should not have a relationship with the order sheet, and the relationship between the order sheet and the fact table should be active.
