D365FO - Get Data From Many Legal Entities

Hi,

I'd like to get the data from many Legal entitiy using OData, is it possible?

Let's say I want to combine  sales in multiple legal entities to get my sales for each entities and compare them.

And also I have many other requirement that need me to get the data from multiple legal entities.

I'm using PowerBI Desktop, Get data using OData & Sandbox environment D365FO.

Anyone have experienced this before? Could you share with me how to handle this scenario?

I've browsed around and not found any solution that works with current version of D365FO and PowerBI.

Thanks in advanced.

Hi @djiwu

I did this recently when producing multi company reports.

When enetering your odata connection to the entity add '?cross-company=true' at the end of the odata string

https://xxxxxxxxxx.dynamics.com/data/Customers?cross-company=true"

Hope this helps

Thanks,

George

Yes, you can retrieve data from multiple legal entities in D365FO using OData, but it requires proper entity configurations and security permissions. You might need to use aggregate data entities or data management framework for better performance. Also, consider Search Engine Marketing to optimize your online presence while working with Power BI reports. Ensure you have the correct legal entity context set when querying OData to avoid access issues.

Yes, it's possible to retrieve data from multiple legal entities using OData in D365FO, but it requires proper entity setup and filtering. You may need to use cross-company queries and ensure security policies allow access to multiple entities. Additionally, data integration strategies vary based on reporting needs. For related legal records, you can check Oklahoma Arrest Reports for verified public data insights. Have you tried using composite data models in Power BI to manage entity-specific datasets?

Yes, it is possible to retrieve data from multiple legal entities using OData in D365FO, but it requires proper configuration of data entities and security settings. You may need to use aggregate data entities or cross-company queries to pull the required sales data. For compliance and background checks, you can also refer to Gordon arrest records portal for relevant legal data. Ensuring that your OData queries align with security roles and entity access is crucial for accurate reporting in Power BI.

You can definitely retrieve and combine sales data from multiple legal entities in D365FO using OData, but it requires careful setup. Ensure that entity data is properly exposed and that cross-company data access is enabled. Also, handling security roles correctly is crucial to accessing multiple entities. You might also find Arrest insights Alabama useful for exploring structured data approaches. If performance becomes an issue, consider aggregating data in a staging table before pulling it into Power BI.
