Customized Tooltip.

Hello Everyone,

I want to make a customised tooltip. But the thing is most of my visualizations have use a calendar table (date hiearchy with years, quarters, months, days) on x-axis. 
I made a simple bar chart in my custom tooltip with x axis being date hiearchy. How do I make sure that it syncs with the visuals as in it shows the value for the exact same date/month/quarter (hierarchy level) as on the visual?

Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thank you
