Customize Multiple Linechart

Hi all,

As you will see I have a multiple linechart and i want to activate markers only for the one timeline and not for both.Linechart.png

I chose the Format option --> Shapes-->Customize Series but it does not let me to deactivate the markers for the grey line.

Do you have any suggestion on how to keep the markers only for the one line??

Thank you in advance

Hi , @Anonymous

Okay, I'm a little confused.

When you first created Linechart visual, wasn't the mark status turned off by default?

Try to recreate the same  table visual.

Yes it was. I activated this otion and the markers shoed in both lines. Then i went to the customize series options so that i deactivate this option for the line i do not want to have them and it does not let me to do it.

Hello, @DimitrisA

Make sure that the x-axis type is categorical and that you have chosen the correct option to turn off gray line markers.

You can choose the Format --> Shapes-->Show Marker (On) option -->Choose the Line Chart -->Show Marker (On) to activate  it .

This is the problem, when i choose the linechart's name and choose to deactivate the markers ( Show Markers Off )it returns automatically to the previous option ( Show Markers ON ).

@v-easonf-msft you are just going in circles, it is a known issue or feature not available yet.

@Anonymous I think there is an idea for this already since dual axis line chart is new and it seems to be an issue and needs improvement.

Sorry, not much of a help.
