Customizable X-Axis based on different dates

Hi,

I used this formum in the past quite a lot if I´m struggling at the creation of some dashboards. It´s a great playce to find for the most of the issues a solution or an idear how to solve it.

This is my first post and I hope you can help me.

I have on a dashboard a bar diagram which shows in the Y-Axis a calculated value or quantity. The X-Axis is based on a date value. Now i try to implement a solution to show the value / quantity based on a date which was seleced by an user.

The user shoud select if he wants to show the values aggregates based on Date1, Date 2, etc. and for wich time frame teh bar diagram should show the data

this is an example of the table with the data!

Sales orderDate 1Date 2Date 3QuantityPrice
A01.01.202201.05.202201.09.2022110
B01.02.202201.06.202201.10.2022220
C01.03.202201.07.202201.11.2022330
D01.04.202201.08.202201.12.2022440

Thansk a lot for your help.

Hi @Stefan75,

You can start by creating three measures that calculate the aggregate value based on Date1, Date2 and Date3. Create three inactive relationships between the Date table and Quantity table using 'Date'[Date] with 'Quantity'[Date1] and another two for Date2 and Date3.

Get the values for the visual by using CALCULATE with USERELATIONSHIP and then create a measure slicer to choose the Date type selection and put Date from Date table into a slicer to get timeframe selection.

Hi @Shaurya,

thanks for you answer.

i´m not sure how to create the mentioned relationships because the relevant data is in the same table with the following columns:

- Sales order

- Date 1

- Date 2

- Date 3

- Quantity

- Price
