Custom measure from excel to Power BI desktop

I have a excel based Power Pivot model imported to PowerBI desktop dashboard. Excel based PowerPivor model is based on OLAP custom cube specific to my team and custom mappings.

When I create a custom field (e.g. field Semester with grouping months based on accounting calendar) it does not show up in current POwerBI desktop dashboard however if i create new dashboard importing excel model new custom field reflects.

I have tried refreshing (option "Refresh All") info in PowerBI desktop. Please help I am missing any step.

Thanks for the help !!

You probably have to go into Advanced Editor in Query Editor and edit your Source or Navigation line or some subsequent line. This is a pretty common issue with CSV files and the like.
