Custom format for data labels in visual

Hi,

I have a line chart with some values that i would like to format. This is simple to do if the value is displayed on a card as i just use the function format([measure],"###,###"). If i try to use the same function in the measure that is used in the line chart, no values are displayed. Why is this and can i do something about it?

@qmestu , use this format in the format in measure tool format or Property pane in Data model view
