Custom bar chart

Hi,

I have a column Account Category with two sub categories "Revenue" and "Expense". I have created a new measure with                Rev-Exp=EBITDA, below is the screensht for reference.

My requirement is to create a bar clustered bar chart like below, showing Revenue, Expense and EBITDA, but instead of EBITDA it is showing blank. Please help me if this is possible in Power BI.

Thanks in Advance

Hi @Anonymous ,

To be sure, measure cannot be used as a legend.

Unfortunately, I can't know your data model from the pictures you provided. You need to paste the sample data and write out the formula you used in the screenshot. The easiest way is to create a sample pbix and upload it through a cloud service like onedrive for business.

Best Regards,
Liang

@Anonymous , How you created EBITA ?

Assuming you have EBITA measure, you have to create a table like this to display

summarize(
union(Table, Table[Account Type], "Amount", sum(Table[Amount])),
union(Table, "Account Type", "EBITA", "Amount", [EDITA])
)

I have created EBITDA simply by

2020 EBITDA Fcst = [2020 Revenue Fcst]-[2020 Expenses Fcst]
EBITDA 2019 = [2019 Revenue]-[2019 Expenses]
2019 EBITDA Plan = [2020 Revenue Plan]-[2020 Expenses Plan]

Please suggest if this is wrong
