Custom Theme default settings

Hey hey!

I've just finished creating a couple of reports for our company and now i want to make some kind of Corporate Identity theme for all of our reports and the new to come.

Here is a couple of questions:

  1. In my custom theme i can only change 8 colors. If my style is green/brown/gray or something and i have a visual with like 12 colors. The last 4 colors doens't fit my theme and i have to go change them manually on every visual. Is there a way to set the colors on more than 8?
  2. Is there a way to add a background in a theme so that i don't have to go add it manually?
  3. Normally i selten use Titles on my visuals and i noticed that if i have a report with 5 visuals and titles inactive and then i go change to a new theme my titles turn active and i have to go thruu each visual and make them inactive again. Can you control thoose kind of stuff in the theme file also?

Thanks for your help

Hi. You may want to consider that it's not all about the theme, you could also create a template "pbit" with power bi. You can pre define colors, fonts in themes but you can also prepare some things with a pbit template.

1. They are 8 values maximum and you can't change that.

2. If the backgroud is a color then I think you can. If you are talking about a picture you may want to add it in desktop and create the template.

3. Yes you can control everything inside visuals.

Check this post might help you know what you can edit:
