Hello all,
Thank you to all who respond.
I have a table using a column named 'Index' which I am sorting on to show the ageGroups fields in order. ageGroup is a text field.
This is working fine, however when I convert this to any type of Bar Chart I loose the sorting. I don't see any way to sort by the axis.
I will need to see the empty ageGroups as seen above. Any way to have the ageGroups below sorting as seen in the table?
Thank you!
BLD

Many thanks!!
Hi @Anonymous ,
Please refer to my detailed solution here :
Solved: Re: Manual sort - Microsoft Power BI Community
You basically need to sort the ageGroups column by the index column and that should fix your issue.
Kind regards,
Rohit

Appreciate your kudos! 🙂
Hi Rohit,
Yes that is my dilema, where and how do I sort that in the chart. I only see sort Axis which will not sort correctly.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Could you confirm that you have performed Step-2 in the solution link I posted earlier? Looking at your screenshot it is evident that ageGroups is not being sorted by the index column.
Kind regards,
Rohit
