Custom Sorting

Hello,

 

I cannot seem to sort my quarters to chronologically order.

 

 

Please help me!

You need a extra column with the order

Quarter  Order

2016Q1  1

2016Q2  2

2016Q3  3

2016Q4  4 

...

...

 

After that use Sort By Column  -- (in modeling menu)

the order is:

2017 q1 ; 2016 q4 ; 2016q3 ; 2016 q2

 

i need it to go

2016 q2 ; 2016 q3; 2016 q4; 2017 q1
