Custom Sorting In a Waterfall Graph
Looking to sort the breakdowns in a custom order. I've created an index for the category to Map Depreciation = 1, Supplies = 2, etc.
However when I sort by axis, the category is not an option for me to sort by. Are there any other ways that I can sort the breakdown?

Hi @jnguyen21 ,
Hope everything is going well.
Judging from the screenshot you provided, your Category contains FiscalYear, and your sorting is based on Sum of New YTD.
Do you want to sort based on FiscalYear? If yes you can do this:
I provide an example so that you can better understand the sorting of waterfall charts.
1. First, create a waterfall chart, with Y axis as "Total Sales Variance" and Category as "FiscalMonth".
2. Sort in descending order according to "FiscalMonth". At this time, August has the largest difference and January has the smallest difference.
3. Sort in descending order according to "Total Sales Variance". At this time, March has the largest positive difference and July has the largest negative difference.

In the data view, select the column "Category", click "Sort by column". Here, by default it will show the category column. Now, you click the custom "Index" column you created.
Go back to report view and the order should be as per the index.
