Custom Sort Function for X-Axis not working

Wanted graph in time sense, daily, weekly, etc etc annually

I created the table and placed the sort by column as index and added that field to the visual - sorted the visual and still... not in order?

Im at a loss at what to do

Hi @philjohn ,

 

According to your description, here are my steps you can follow as a solution.

(1) This is my test data.

(2) Select the Frequency column to sort by the Index column.

(3) Then the result is as follows. Be careful not to sort the visuals again.

If the above one can't help you get the desired result, please provide some sample data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. Thank you.
